Nice to hear from you. I did run a race in 1961 at 5000 meters but I had torn a calf muscle against the Germans a few days before and I ran to pick up the fourth place points. Zimni was Poland's top runner and placed second to America's Jim Beatty. I didn't go to Europe in 62 (mononucleosis) , 63 (leg injury) or 64 (because of training for the Olympics.) In 65, I did run in Europe but did not run in Poland.
I am going to send you a copy of my second book which you might find interesting. I am not sure what I will be doing with it since I need to add some pages on my life after 1968.
Send me an email after you read it and if there is someone else you know that would like to read it, have them send me an email. My best to you and I would hope to revisit Poland within the next few years.

Przysłał. Przynajmniej cześć. W 1965 roku mieli tourne po Europie, mityngi w Helsinkach, Moskwie, Berlinie, Pradze - wszystkie opisał z niezłymi szczegółami oprócz wizyty w Warszawie o której napisał tak:
